May 15th, 2016 was supposed to be a fun day for 28-year-old Jerome Baker III and his six children. That day, Jerome planned to take his children to Six Flags in Eureka, Missouri. Before they could leave for their trip to the amusement park, Jerome seemingly vanished from his home in St. Louis. He was never seen alive by his loved ones again.
According to reports, a woman that Jerome was dating planned to join him and his children on the trip to Six Flags. The couple spent the morning at Jerome's residence, preparing for their day at the park. Then, around 10:00 AM, the woman borrowed Jerome's car, bringing one of his kids with her, to go pick up her own children for the trip.
After the woman left, Jerome called his best friend to ask if he could borrow his car to drive the rest of the children to Six Flags. His friend agreed, and subsequently drove over to Jerome's house so he could use the vehicle. When his friend arrived, approximately 11 minutes after their phone call ended, Jerome was nowhere to be found.
Most of Jerome's personal items, including his wallet, jacket, and extra cash were left behind. The only item that vanished with him was his cell phone - but all calls and texts to the phone went unanswered. Jerome's mother was alerted about her son's sudden absence, and as such, she went to his house to investigate. Once there, Jerome's mother noticed that there were drag marks in the dirt in her son's backyard.
Jerome was reported missing to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police. Unfortunately, the police's investigation did not yield any clues to Jerome's whereabouts. Months later, in October 2016, a utility worker found a human skull in a vacant dump site on Bircher Boulevard and Riverview Boulevard. The skull was later identified as that of Jerome Baker III. His remains were found an approximate 10-minutes' drive from his home. Jerome's death was classified as a homicide.
It's been reported that Jerome's mother has pleaded with police several times to take more action in her son's case. In fact, after Jerome vanished, his mother reportedly made "pleas to have her son’s phone pinged, with law enforcement initially giving her the runaround. When they finally acted, a chilling revelation emerged – a 911 call made on the day of Jerome’s disappearance captured him fighting for his life against multiple assailants."
Despite this information, there have been no arrests for Jerome's murder. No suspects or persons of interest have ever been publicly identified. The case remains unsolved, and Jerome's loved ones are left without answers. If you any information that could lead to the arrest of Jerome's killer(s), please contact St. Louis Police Department at (314) 444-5738.

The second Victim. The Second Blackened.
Crash
Oh no..
Cindy: You sure you heard that loud ass thud in this room?
Kidd: Duh! I know it's here! You also heard some footsteps fading away from the room, right?
Cindy: Oh, you too? Maybe that absolute dumbass got embarrassed because of that noise-
.
.
Tumblr media
?!?!
Tumblr media
(Victim): Penny
Penny: The Ultimate Robot Baker.
Cause of death: Crushed by bookshelf.
Additional information: She was found in the main library. Her body is horribly broken and severely damaged, her damage was so horrible that her head popped off, leaving some weird and unusual green blood-like substance on the floor. (Off with her head..) I guess she really is a robot. Totally surprising. Totally..
Tumblr media
All Ultimates surrounds her body. The Detective decided to investigate while also interrogate Kidd.
Lily: So, what happened?
Kid: I'm not too sure, neither does Cindy. We were both looking around this area to find more clues to get out of the school. But we heard a loud crash in the library, so me and Cindy decided to check it out. We also heard footsteps fading away as we walked inside. Not sure what that's about.
Billy: Footsteps? Running away from the library? I guess the murder just happened a few moments ago. But.. Me and Lily just walked past the Library.. And saw the person run out of there..
Tumblr media
.
Lily: Weird. The Blackened always have to be so obvious, Billy.
Billy: Yeah, kinda sad honestly.
Kidd: Wait, so you both already know who the murderer is?
Billy: Of course we already know.
Tumblr media
The Spy looks at the Blackened, staring at their obvious nervous emotion and body language. It's like they know they're doomed.
.
Nugget: you look quite nervous, dear friend of nugget.
Kidd: Who wouldn't be, Nuggs? I'm just sad that Penny was the one that got killed. It could've been anyone but her..
.
Felix: since you're the detective, I suppose you already know who the culprit is?
Lily: Well of course, it's quite obvious really. And I suppose a business man like you also know who it is?
Felix: Correct. Their despair body emotions are pretty much a dead give away.
.
.
.
In the Trial..
Tumblr media
Kidd: I'll start it off. Me and Cindy were together the whole time. We both heard a loud crash in the library and the footsteps fading away from the crime. My question is, where was everyone at that time?
Jerome: I'll just say, I was in my room the whole time, until I heard the announcement. Ron can vouch for me.
Ron: Yup. I was walking with him to his door and I walked into my door since we're next to eachother. Oh and I also saw nugget walking to the bathroom.
Nugget: Yes yes.
Billy: Ok, anyone else?
Ted: I was with Felix the whole time, and we also saw Buggs on the Couch sleeping, in the main lobby area.
Felix: Indeed.
Buggs: Yup.
Billy: Alright. So if me and Lily were together.. And so was Kid and Cindy.. That just leaves you.. £^#%.
£^#%: H-Huh..? I was in the west hallway..!
Cindy: No you weren't. Me and Kidd walked past there and we didn't see or hear you.
£^#%: Y-Yes I was! You both are probably blind or just deaf if you didn't notice someone there!
Ron: Oh my gosh, dude is it actually you?!
£^#%: N-No! It's not-!
Buggs: Cut the bullshit, £^#%! Spit it out already!
£^#%: I .. Uh..!
Lily: It's obvious that it's them. £^#%. You're a nervous wreck right now.
Felix: Let's just hurry up and vote now. This is tiresome.
£^#%: N-No! Wait!!
(All the ultimates casted their votes, simply ignoring the distressed £^#%. The poll rolled, immediately landing on £^#% as whistles and cheers were heard from the machine. They got it right.)
£^#%: Wh.. Wha..?
Lily: Our suspension was correct. What do you have to say for yourself.. Ozzy?
Tumblr media
Ozzy: W-What?! Hey! Did you all think I killed Penny.. On PURPOSE?! It's not actually me!!
Jerome: Wait.. What?
Monokoma: Alright, Ultimates! You all got it right! Do you all know what that means?? That's right! It's..
PUNISHMENT TIME!!!
Ozzy: NO! NO! WAIT! I WAS FRAMED! SOMEONE PUSHED ME FROM BEHIND AGAINST THE BOOKSHELF- AAAAHHHH-!!!
(Ozzy was pulled off immediately)
.
.
.
Now Ozzy faces his punishment. It strangely doesn't have to do with his Ultimate Talent. It's mainly is allergic struggle.. green flowers.. There's nothing he can do.. All he can do is.. Perish and Suffocate in a greenhouse filled with those green flowers.
Tumblr media
Ozzy is now officially dead. Leaving his lifeless body on the ground surrounded by the deadly flowers..
.
.
Lily: Wait.. He.. Just said he was pushed..
Billy: Did we screwed up??
Nugget: But Monokoma said that Ozzy was the culprit.
Jerome: Wait.. I just realized something..
Buggs: What is it, man?
Jerome: Where the fuck is Madison and Alice??? They haven't been around this whole fuckin time!
.
.
This concludes
Chapter 2.

Since you've been rebloging this clown like crazy, who are your favorite Jokers?
Oh no... how could I ever choose?
Anyway.
Tumblr media
Number 10. Brave And The Bold - A Silver Age inspired Joker with the Golden Age design and genuine menace. A pretty good combo if you ask me!
Tumblr media
Number 9. 1966/Caesar Romero - He's the most iconic of the purely campy Jokers, and honestly he's just fun. I know that's not a heavy reason to like this iteration of the character, but it's true.
Tumblr media
Number 8. Gotham - The Valeska Twins share a spot, purely because Cameron Monaghan's performance as them was so great. First there was Jerome, who was originally supposed to be a one-off possible Joker, and remained that way throughout the entire show even as he became somewhat of a Proto-Joker that was simultaneously heinous and fun. Though near the end of the show's 4th season, Jerome dies, but his twin brother Jeremiah ends up getting infected with an insanity gas that his brother cooked up, turning Jeremiah into a Golden Age inspired Proto-Joker who slowly evolves into the clown that we're more familiar with.
Tumblr media
Number 7. The Batman 2004 - This clown offers almost everything you'd want, but they're all packed within an extremely different exterior! His bare feet, dreads that resemble a jesters hat, Kevin Michael Richardson voicing him, and just how athletic and animalistic he is make this Joker unique, even if what he brings to the table is still pure fun mixed with genuine heinousness and a bat obsession.
Tumblr media
Number 6. Arkhamverse - Despite having that shit final boss and his bad habit of constantly overshadowing other villains, Joker in these games is an absolute blast to see and hear. Doesn't matter that he's a big bad, a secondary antagonist, or just "flirting with Batsy", he's great. It also helps that both Mark Hamill and Troy Baker do a phenomenal job at bringing him to life.
Tumblr media
Number 5. Golden Age - Ah, Original!Joker my beloved. A scary as shit cunning sociopath with a haunting grin, clownish exterior, and a nice purple suit who just came outta nowhere. Plain, simple, yet very effective at the time.
Tumblr media
Number 4. Nolanverse/Heath Ledger - I swear to god Heath Ledger's take on Joker is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover" because while he kinda spawned more cringeworthy and edgier Jokers (Lookin' at the New 52 & Leto), he also manages to distill the essence of the character perfectly. He's colorful yet subtle, funny yet terrifying, arrogant yet self-deprecating, brilliant yet insane, motivated to cause chaos yet feeling the need to justify that chaos to the rest of the world, hates Batman yet loves him, and he just simply exists.
Tumblr media
Number 3. Batman 1989/Jack Nicholson - Perfect casting, perfect costume, feels like he leapt straight outta the comics and onto the big screen, and he has a near perfect origin. If only he wasn't responsible for the death of the Waynes. Still he's a phenomenal elseworlds Joker and an ICON.
Tumblr media
Number 2. BTAS/DCAU - Forever the definitive Joker adaptation. Mark Hamill's voice was perfect for the clown, his designs are iconic, his origin being a perfect blend between "we know what he's about" and "we don't know shit," he's still funny yet terrifying, he's a chaotic artist, his toxic dynamic with Harley Quinn was perfect (which is funny since Quinn was invented FOR BTAS), his death and actual defeat were cathartic, and overall this was the Definitive Joker.
Tumblr media
Number 1. Post-Crisis Comics - We got Joker's Five-Way Revenge, Laughing Fish, Dreadful Birthday Joker, The Killing Joke, and A Death In The Family out of this iteration of the character, all of which pretty much came to define The Joker in one way or another, for better or worse. Out of all of the reboots of DC's universe, Post-Crisis had the best Comic!Joker, and in all honestly just the best Joker in general.

Ghost Bricks is Coming!
Tumblr media
Cover art by Jerome Timinski
Out around The Rockies and too many disasters deep, three young scavengers have become fast friends amid a dangerous and uncaring world.
Tiberius Casella, street-smart and confident, leads the gang from one job to the next with just a grin and a prayer.
Sloan Schaffer, a sharpshooter with a too-quick trigger finger, keeps the worst foes at bay.
And Asher Davis, caring, quiet, and tough as an ox, might just be the glue that holds the whole gang together.
The bond they've formed, however, has yet to face it's ultimate test. What happens when a father's gift turns out to be a curse? What happens when a greater evil turns its eye on the group? How can three kids with nothing but luck on their side hold it together against the odds?
Ghost Bricks (volume 1) is done after two long and chaotic years of work! It all started as a strange dream (literally, I had a dream about it) and now it's real!
It will be available for purchase on August 31st, (THAT'S ONLY FOUR DAYS AWAY) and preorders are already available!
It'll be up for grabs basically everywhere you can think, including my ko-fi!
---
This link will remain up-to-date with all the places that it's available besides Ko-fi
You can currently pre-order on Apple Books, Barnes and Noble, Rakuten Kobo, Fable, Smashwords, Everand, OverDrive, Odilo, Gardners, Baker & Taylor, Cloud Library, Tolino, Thalia, and Vivlio

The final film of the devisive Star Wars prequel trilogy was released on May 19, 2005. Of the first 6 Star Wars movies, Revenge of the Sith was the first Star Wars movie to be rated PG-13. It was also the first Star Wars film to not recieve a nomination of Best Visual Effects. The original cut of the movie tied directly to the end of the Genndy Tartakovsky animated Clone Wars (2003 - 2005) shorts and showed Shaak Ti (Orli Shoshan) being executed after failing to protect Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid). The animated shorts also introduced General Grievous (Matthew Wood) and explained why he had respratory problems. The title was simular to the original title of episode 6 Revenge of the Jedi (1983), which was turned to Return of the Jedi as Lucas felt revenge was not a Jedi trait. The title was changed late enough that it altered the title of Vengeance of Khan (1982) to Wrath of Khan as Star Trek producers felt Vengeance sounded too close to Revenge. Lucas finally worked in a Wookie planet battle that was originally in the script for episode 3 Star Wars A New Hope (1977) and reworked as Ewoks in Return of the Jedi. Originally, George Lucas planned to write and direct the first movie and then story and executive produce episodes 2 and 3, like he did with 5 and 6, but after the panning the first prequel got, he wrote and directed 2 and 3 himself. The movie had the key points of ending The Clone Wars, turning Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen and James Earl Jones) into Darth Vader, the fall of the Jedi and the Republic, the creation of the Empire, the revelation of the Emperor and his disfiguration, the duel between Vader and Obi Wan (Ewan McGregor) that disfigured him, the death of Padme (Natalie Portman), the birth of Luke Skywalker (Aidan Barton) and Princess Leia Organa (also Aidan Barton), Luke's adoption by Owen (Joel Edgerton) and Beru Lars (Bonnie Piesse), Leia's adoption by Bail (Jimmy Smits) and Breha (Rebecca Jackson Mendoza) Organa, Yoda's (Frank Oz) exile to Degobah and Obi Wan to Tatooine, and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) getting his memory wiped. The movie introduced the planets Utapau, Mygeeto, Felucia, Saleucami, Kashyyk (though technically this first appeared in the Star Wars Holiday Special - 1978), and Mustafar. Action also took place on established planets Coruscant, Naboo, and Tatooine. Noteable deaths in the movie were Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), General Grievous, Padme, Agen Kolar (Tux Akindoyeni), Saesee Tiin(Kenji Oates), Kit Fitso (Ben Cooke), Mace Windu (Samuel L Jackson), Boga, Ki-Adi-Mundi (Silas Carson), Aayla Secura (Amy Allen), Plo Koon (Matt Sloan), Stass Allie (Nina Fallon), Zett Jukassa (Jett Lucas), Whie Malreaux (Coinneach Alexander), Bene (Olivia McCallum), Cin Dralling (Nick Gillard), Nank Tun, Passel Argente (Marty Wetherill), Po Nudo (Paul Nicholson), Poggle the Lesser (Richard Stride), Rune Haako (Jerome Blake), Rute Gunnay (Colin Ware), Nute Gunray (Silas Carson), Tikkes , Cat Miin, Shu Mai, San Hill, and Wat Tambor (Ben Burtt and Matthew Wood). Characters that continued on to the original trilogy were Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, the Emperor, Yoda, C-3PO, Tarkin (Wayne Pygram), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), Owen and Beru Lars, Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly), Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa. Critically, Revenge of the Sith is often called the best of the prequel trilogy and was the highest domestic grossing film in year release of 2005. ("Revenge of the Sith", Star Wars Movie Event)

The Ties of Fate
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A drawing of two emblems, one a leopard’s eye and the other a snake’s eye. The leopard is red and the snake is yellow, and both of them have a sort of lightning strike reaching towards each other. /End ID]
::: ::: :::
The bells were ringing again. It was a sound they all dreaded, a sound that dampened the usual cheer of the dawn of a new day.
It was the sound of war.
Will Barret lowered the bow—the bow he’d made from a tree branch—and turned to watch as the single rider made his way along the road. A coil of unease slithered inside him, and without a second thought, he leaped through the little woods, towards the farmhouse in the field.
Daniel was already outside, carrying the shovel back into the barn. “Dad!” Will shouted. His father looked up and waved a hand, stopping as he waited.
“Is everything alright?”
He slowed down, panting. “Rider,” he said, letting out a slow breath. “There’s a rider coming.”
::: ::: :::
This is my AU submission for the Ranger assessment! (More info under the cut)
It’s kinda of a reversal AU, but also not really because about half of it remains the same. It’s also still very rough so I haven’t figured out all the logistics yet.
Morgarath was never defeated. In fact, the original war continued on much longer, with each group taking heavy losses. So much so that it came to a point where a tense truce was offered.
Unfortunately, Morgarath’s advances reached from Gorlan to a shaky line across Araluen. Thus Araluen was split into Duncan’s land and Morgarath’s land (now known as Tenebris).
The erasure of the Ranger Corps did happen. And Crowley did end up uniting the Originals to help Duncan. Unlike in the main timeline, he did it alone.
Halt O’Carrick, once heir to the throne of Dun Kilty, faced the same assassination attempts from his brother Ferris. It was around the third attempt that their father grew extremely ill.
Instead of allowing Ferris to take the throne, Halt was determined to keep his brother’s corruption from spreading. So he stayed. Caitlyn was the first to know. Halt had his own ensemble that was loyal to him, and managed to keep Ferris compliant for the time being. And so when the King died, Halt took the throne.
In this AU, he still met Pritchard and trained with him. His main weapon is still a bow and arrow. He has his own guards practice the weapon as well. For a while, everything went relatively smoothly.
There was no Ranger to save, and Daniel survived. The other two who ransacked his home in the original story (I can’t remember their names) still tried to pull their stunt but were unsuccessful. His wife lived and so did Will. For fifteen years, all was still.
(For reference, I gave them the last name of Barret. Vira is his wife and Will’s mother)
When the war commences once more, Will is forced back into it as well as his father. Will proves to be not so competent in most weaponry and finds himself with the archers.
The rest of the Wards are still in their respective places. As Morgarath plans, Battleschool students, Diplomats, and Scribes are all doing their own part.
Horace is a natural when it comes to swordsmanship, but not when it comes to fitting in. His mother lives alone, and he worries about her every day. Alda, Bryn, and Jerome make his life a living hell every day and he almost wishes he never joined.
Alyss strives to be everything Lady Pauline is. Her family is still gone, and so she did grow up in the Ward with George and a few others. Coincidentally, a popular baker in town frequents Castle Redmont to help with any major events. Her daughter, Jenny, often tags along and spends time with Alyss and George.
Never given the opportunity to choose another path, Gilan is a respected knight in Caraway. He still looks to the Rangers with longing and envy, but he knows it’s far too late to join. And besides, this is what everyone expected of him, right? As the Battlemaster’s son, it’s only natural.
At the start of the AU, Cassandra is placed in Celtica. Which geographically speaking is still weird because I have no idea how she would have made it even with a truce, but I’ll figure it out. The war did start again some time after she had arrived, so there’s that. Madelydd and her get into all sorts of antics and enjoy spending time with one another.
As the war starts, Crowley and Duncan are noticeably concerned about the growing size of Morgarath’s army. They will need more support if they have any hope of winning, but international relationships are not so well off. Fortunately, though small, an army from Hibernia decides to cut in on the decision of one of the six Kings - Halt O’Carrick
And of course, Ferris sees this as the perfect moment to strike. His brother leaves Caitlyn and Ferris in charge, not without sparing a few of his men to keep an eye on his brother. Unfortunately, Ferris has his own loyal followers. If the King were to leave to fight a war and never return, no one would bat an eye, after all.
No one except Caitlyn.
Anyways, that’s all I have for now! Everything will tie together eventually, I just have to figure out how to get there, lol.
